New Acres Wandsworth, a new rental development in Wandsworth, recently came to one of our training sessions to learn about the club. They spoke to local legend (and our Chairman) Andy Proudfoot who has been championing the sporting community in Wandsworth for almost half a century! They also spoke with members of the men's and women's teams to hear about the impact that this community has had on their lives and the impact was clear, with players citing the source of ‘joy’ the team has been, having ‘saved them’ in tough times as members rallied in support of each other, united by a love of football.
